Island Pearl Resort Roatan

Welcome to Island Pearl Beach Front and Dive Resort located on West Bay Beach
on Roatan Island, in the Bay of Honduras.

Island Pearl Resort is found on West Bay Beach on the Western, Leeward side of Roatan Island in the Bay of Honduras. In the center of West Bay Beach, you will be ideally situated for snorkeling, world class diving, kayaking, or relaxing on the beach. The sandy court yard of the Pearl provides a tranquil haven in which to relax, while BananaramaDive and Beach Front Resort is next door and provides all the activities you will need.

Roatan Island is about 40 miles long and is one of the largest of the Bay Islands. Surrounded by the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the largest barrier reef in the Caribbean Sea and second only in size to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, Roatan is home to an abundant array of marine life, truly a paradise for Roatan scuba divers and Roatan snorkelers.

With an International Airport on the island (RTB), Roatan Island is an easy travel destination.

Throughout the year you can take flights from Houston (TACA, Continental), Atlanta (Delta) and Miami (TACA).

You can also fly via the mainland city of San Pedro Sula (SAP). It is then just a short flight or bus with the ferry over to Roatan.

4 Airlines have services from the mainland of Honduras to Roatan.

If you prefer the land and sea experience there is a regular bus service from San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba on Hedman Alas (www.hedmanalas.com). For the short Ferry crossing to Roatan please contact www.safewaymaritime.com .

Additional one stop flights via San Salvador are also operated by TACA. For more information check out their website for TACA Airlines (www.taca.com)
